Presented by: Karina Jackson Occupational therapists can address the growing public health concern of pelvic health issues, which requires interdisciplinary teamwork to tackle complex matters and improve outcomes (Watts, 2024). Occupational therapists play a vital role in this field and are uniquely trained to address intimate, often-overlooked concerns holistically, which supports functional recovery and enhances quality of life for clients. This webinar will explore the fundamentals of pelvic health, the occupational therapist’s role in pelvic health, and help you identify assessment and treatment approaches. Further topics include the connection between sexuality counselling and pelvic health, and help to identify collaboration opportunities with other practitioners in pelvic health.
