Cet atelier d’une demi-journée dote les ergothérapeutes et autres prestataires de soins de connaissances fondamentales sur les pratiques de documentation anti-oppressives, et d’outils concrets pour commencer à les appliquer.

En s'appuyant sur les données probantes (CADDRA, 2020; CQJDC, 2026), ce webinaire outille les ergothérapeutes pour remplacer la gestion comportementale par des stratégies co-construites, maximisant l'engagement et la participation. Ce webinaire explore l'autodétermination comme moteur essentiel de la participation de l'enfant avec TDAH. Les défis familiaux et les interventions recommandées (CADDRA, 2020) pour habiliter l'enfant seront abordés. Au cœur de la formation: des stratégies concrètes à implanter immédiatement pour encourager la prise d’initiative chez les 6-12 ans. Enfin, la personne présentatrice explorera comment utiliser stratégiquement l’environnement social pour soutenir le jeune, favorisant ainsi une meilleure participation à l'école comme à la maison.

This one-day workshop will explore neuroplasticity and mind-body interventions to facilitate participation in valued occupations, focusing on how these concepts can be applied flexibly in consideration of nervous system readiness and energy envelope principles.

This experiential and interactive workshop will explore interoception as the sixth sense and its relevance to self-regulation and daily life participation. A variety of evidence-based tools and interventions relevant to the pediatric population will be discussed and experienced. Adults will have the opportunity to participate in the interventions first, and these learning experiences will influence how they apply them to their OT practice.

This webinar will explore occupational models as a framework for addressing pediatric sleep, with a focus on the the Person-Environment-Occupation-Performance (PEOP; Christiansen et al., 2011) model. Participants will learn to identify client factors such as mental health and sensory modulation that increase sleep deficit risk, examine environmental/contexual and occupational factors affecting family sleep, and review various sleep assessments with their respective advantages and limitations. Evidence-based, family-centred interventions will be presented, and interactive case studies will build confidence in sleep assessment interpretation and therapy planning.

This webinar will cover current research in autism on burnout, inertia, meltdown, and shutdown (BIMS) phenomena, with a focus on defining/identifying each one. Drawing on work co-designing BIMS support tools with autistic children, youth, and adults, the webinar will also highlight key strategies and free resources for supporting clients.
